Going to the Chapel

The Chapel at Laurelin Retreat has been a project long in the making. We started from the ground up about five years ago, building spiritual protection into its very base.

From there, walls and roof were raised, and the Chapel served as a bright spot during the cold winters.

This summer Kirk worked hard on the inside and outside of the Chapel, giving her the traditional barn red with deep green exterior, highlighted with shimmering gold doors and window frame. The inside has red walls, blue ceilings, and gold trim.

The interior will house a permanent altar for our ancestor and spirit offerings, and space for divinations and small ceremonial gatherings.
